For 25 years I've watched middle and upper-class families walk into a dentist's chair the moment something hurts — because a neighbourhood clinic was always there.
The lower-income community doesn't have that. Not because they can't pay. Not because they don't care. But because there is no neighbourhood clinic they feel comfortable walking into.
The human mind trusts the environment it's used to. Ananda is that trusted neighbourhood clinic — built inside the urban village itself.

The Pilot · Tikri Urban Village
We tested the idea 300 metres from Dental Brasstacks. The numbers spoke.
From March 2025 to December 2025, we ran Ananda as a pilot clinic at Tikri Urban Village — a working-class neighbourhood next door to one of Gurgaon's premium sectors.
What We Learned
They have the need. They have the willingness. They were missing access.
Proximity unlocked demand
When the clinic was inside the village, walk-ins started on day one. No transport friction, no intimidation.
Dignity changed behaviour
Clean chair, gentle care, respectful conversation. Patients returned with families instead of waiting for pain.
Financially self-sustaining
Affordable per-visit pricing, high local volume, low overheads. Break-even hit in two months — proof this model can scale.
Beyond the Chair
School screenings and awareness drives — built into the model.
Every Ananda clinic runs free screening and oral-health awareness sessions for the local government primary school and frontline workers — staff, helpers, nannies, guards.
The Roadmap
Five urban villages next. A repeatable model after that.
Phase 1 · Validated
Tikri pilot — 500+ patients, school programs, break-even in two months.
Phase 2 · Launching
5 Ananda clinics across urban villages of Gurgaon — each anchored by a local dentist, school screening program and awareness drive.
Phase 3 · Scale
Replicate the playbook district-by-district. Train local hygienists. Make Ananda the trusted neighbourhood clinic for India's working-class communities.
